Dear Friends,
I just sent out my newsletter about Words and Wool and, to my horror, I have seen an “upgrade to paid” button at the top of my newsletter. Today, I changed some settings in my Substack account because I’ve had a few requests from subscribers who would like to receive extra fan club/Patreon-style essays or music videos from me for a fee or membership. BUT my monthly newsletters will always be free and you will never be asked to pay for them. I apologize for that button being at the top of my newsletter today and I will work out how to format the newsletter, so the paid subscriber button sits at the bottom.
It’s awkward being an independent maker and artist at times because I also need to be a photographer, web designer, graphic designer, and editor too! I should really see if Stanley Bear would like to take over some of these jobs!
I wish you kindness and friendship always. And I hope you can forgive that shocking blue button at the top of my newsletter.
Your pal,
Jeni
P.S. The other day we found Scrabble at the recycle shop for 1 English pound. So far the standings are: Stanley Bear 2 wins, The Englishman 2 wins, the American Girl 0 wins. And who’s the English major . . . ?!
