That is so kind of you! One of my favorite fabric shops is Village Haberdashery in London – run by a fellow ex-pat. My head teacher for the summer printmaking course and I have agreed to wear white shirts and red skirts (me)/trousers(him). So, I was planning to sew a couple of white sleeveless tunic shirts for my "uniform." I fancied swiss dot. And a simple red wrap skirt of some kind! https://thevillagehaberdashery.co.uk/collections/fabric/products/dobby-cotton-white
Or any kind of white or red fabric with dots or stars or anything at all would be lovely. Even if you send just a small amount, I'll make a kerchief to keep the summer sweat out of my eyes and think of you! No pressure to furnish enough for a skirt! I'll email my London address to you because we're headed there in a week and I'll be there until I head to the states in July. Anyhow, truly, your thoughtfulness is a gift in itself! Hugs!
Yay, Jeni-- I hope your birthday and the coming year carry many delights your way!
Aww, thank you! And thank you for my birthday gift! Hugs and smiles from England!
Happy Birthday for tomorrow Jeni. I hope you have a great day.
I’d love to buy you some sewing thread+/ fabric if you’d send a link,
Best wishes,
Laraine x
