As you might guess from my current residence in the hospital this song has a certain resonance with me.
On a happier note however I really like the song you sand with mike smith. Has he recorded any other guitar work? I'm a -not-very-gifted-guitarist myself but his accompaniment reminded me of something I took part in with a stranger in big sur some time ago. (Ps trying to upgrade to paid sub but have to wait for a nurse to get my wallet)

It’s great to hear that picking on your YouTube. Mike doesn’t perform out anymore as he just prefers to play for his own enjoyment. He and his wife have made some recordings, but not released them on CD. I think there may be one on YouTube. I’ll check. But he’ll be pleased to hear you liked his playing. He’s got a wonderful light, but steady style. Always great to sit and play with him. I’m sorry you’re in the hospital. Please do take care. And all kindness to you for writing.
